چکیده
As electrochemical measuring instruments, screen-printed electrodes (SPEs) are constructed via a technology called thick film deposition onto plastic or ceramic substrates, allowing for simple, inexpensive, and rapid on-site analysis with high reproducibility, sensitivity, accuracy. Numerous substances such as gold, silver, platinum, carbon applied electrode construction, enabling the analyst to design best device based on its purpose determine an analyte’s selectivity sensitivity. Thus, in current review, we report latest results analyses conducted over past eight years (2015–2022) expansion of SPE biosensors, including aptasensors, immunosensors, DNA sensors, enzymatic biosensors. Such has resulted new possibilities identification, distinction, quantification biocompounds, drugs, enzymes, etc. Therefore, this paper, review role different nanomaterials manufacturing on-screen methods well strategies future stable diagnosis biorecognition elements.

Fabrication of co-planar screen printed microband electrodes.
We demonstrate the first example of the fabrication of co-planar 50 μm (width) screen printed graphite microbands (length: 20 mm), fabricated entirely via screen printing which are characterised both microscopically and electrochemically via cyclic voltammetry and evaluated towards the sensing of NADH offering a competitive limit of detection (3σ) of 0.24 μM. The fabricated electrodes are also ...

Adequate selection of the electrode surface and the strategies for its modification to enable subsequent immobilization of biomolecules and/or nanomaterials integration play a major role in the performance of electrochemical affinity biosensors. Because of the simplicity, rapidity and versatility, electrografting using diazonium salt reduction is among the most currently used functionalization ...
متن کاملThe fabrication, characterisation and electrochemical investigation of screen-printed graphene electrodes.
We report the fabrication, characterisation (SEM, Raman spectroscopy, XPS and ATR) and electrochemical implementation of novel screen-printed graphene electrodes. Electrochemical characterisation of the fabricated graphene electrodes is undertaken using an array of electroactive redox probes and biologically relevant analytes, namely: potassium ferrocyanide(II), hexaammine-ruthenium(III) chlori...
